Becoming a digital marketer
I've always stirred towards digital marketing as the career path I'm looking to head for in the future. I decided to do some research on the requirements in becoming a digital marketer and what are the tiers in digital marketing.

Digital marketing is broken down into several forms, among them, the social media manager position suits me the most. Before becoming a social media manager, a fresh graduate starts off becoming a social media coordinator, who is responsible for drafting, posting content and writing captions. Management-level in social media are more focused on the strategy of social media such as determining the social pages to like or accounts to follow.
According to Kruse Control Inc, a Social Media Manager is required to: - Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers. - Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written). - Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales. - Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions. - Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts. - Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.). - Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. - Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review. - Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed. - Compile reports for management showing results (ROI).
After going through research on digital marketing, while I have no issues on the creative sides of becoming a digital marketer, I realized I will have to learn how to be more analytical as it is one of the vital requirements to have as a digital marketer.
